Wick Academy beat Clyde 2-1 at Harmsworth Park last night in a friendly. Before the game, Club President Clair Harper was taken aback when the grandstand was named after him. Clyde are managed by Barry Ferguson, ex Glasgow Rangers star and Bob Malcolm.
Gary Weir opened the scoring after 15mins with a glorious header. Richard MacAdie made it 2-0 with a penalty shortly after. Clyde pulled one back just before half-time and also hit the post.
It was all Clyde in the 2nd half, but they couldn't find the net.
