Caithness Cycling Club held their racing weekend with riders from all over Scotland competing. I caught the 25mile Time trial on Saturday, which ran from Thurso to Watten and back, along a very busy A9. Conditions were near perfect, but a slight headwind on the return leg.
Eric Innes, Elgin CC was first with Caithness's Andrew "Hamper" MacLeod a close 2nd. Alasdair Washington, Caithness CC won the veteran's race.
